1st TUMfast Start-up Pitch: Clear the stage for the best ideas

The countdown for the first TUMfast Start-up Pitch is running: On 29 November 2019 – during our day of the faculty (Tag der Fakultät), selected participating teams will present their start-up ideas to a prominent jury. Investor Carsten Maschmeyer, Prof. Dr. Gunther Friedl, patron of TUMfast and initiator of the TUMfast Start-up Pitch, as well as tech entrepreneur and investor Alexander Springer have preselected six teams out of all applicants which get to present their idea. After the presentations the jury will decide which start-up concept made it into the top three. The judging criteria include entrepreneurial attitude, creativity and practicability of the start-up idea.

Pitch presentations with network event

The winners of the TUMfast Start-up Pitch will be announced on the afternoon of 29 November at the award ceremony: Those who convince the jury will receive mentor coaching from Carsten Maschmeyer and a ski weekend in Kitzbühel from Alexander Springer. In addition to the winner’s trophy and certificates for the second and third places, there is also a very special opportunity: the start-uppers have the opportunity to network with potential investors during the subsequent get-together and, at best, secure funding for their projects.

The pitch presentations in the Vorhoelzer Forum, Faculty of Architecture of the TUM, begin on 29 November 2019 at 10.30 a.m. They will be followed by a get-together until 12.45 p.m. and the award ceremony, also in the Vorhoelzer Forum. Both events are open to the public.
