New study of Prof. Krcmar
A new study of TUM professor Helmut Krcmar (Chair for Information Systems and Executive Director of the Executive MBA in Business & IT) and software producer SAP shows: Employees in many companies are lacking adequate digital skills.
Only 27% of the surveyed companies confirmed that they have a clearly structured plan for the implementation of digital strategies and only 17% stated that they have the adequate employees for the digital transformation.
Prof. Dr. Krcmar emphasized that companies need to be aware of this qualification gap. It is therefore important to employ qualified professionals but also to train existing executives and employees to be ready for the digital change.
Our Executive MBA in Business & IT helps to build this bridge between management and IT – preparing holistically for the complex business questions of the future.
