Vice Dean Executive Education Prof. Peus in the media
In the first issue of 2016 of the German professional magazine “OrganisationsEntwicklung”, TUM professor Claudia Peus, owner of the TUM Chair of Research and Science Management as well as Vice Dean Executive Education of TUM School of Management, wrote about her former mentor and award winning organization researcher Richard Hackman. Hackman was an active scientist at Yale and Harvard University.
The magazine for Organizational Development and Change Management dedicated the article to the leading researcher in the organizational fields of work structuring and effectiveness of teams who died in 2013. The article highlights Hackman’s research insights, especially in terms of team performance, and their practical implementation.
As post-doctoral fellow and later habilitation stipendiary at Harvard University, Prof. Dr. Peus had the opportunity to work with Hackman. Claudia Peus describes Hackman not only as an invaluable mentor but also as an extraordinary researcher whose work has raised organizational research to a new level.
More on the topic and Richard Hackman can be found in Nr. 1|2016, p. 100-105 issue of “OrganisationsEntwicklung”.
