A Message from the Dean
Dear Colleagues, Dear Students, Dear Corporate Partner,
Public life stands still, containment of the coronavirus is the top priority at the moment. That is why the TUM School of Management has also mainly closed its doors. Teaching and examinations have been suspended, and the libraries are not allowed to be visited. In order to ensure the health of our employees, we have switched to working from home. At the same time we want to provide you with the best service possible and the quality you are used to from the TUM School of Management: but now online.
For our students, our service units continue to be available for questions about exams and courses: via email, phone call or virtual meeting. In addition, we regularly provide information about our study programs to prospective students in our online info sessions.
The Technical University of Munich was the first German university to provide its own free Massive Open Online Courses. I cordially invite you to take advantage of this free MOOC offer and continue your education from the comfort of your home.
Yet, it is not clear how long the current situation will last. We are working flat out to be prepared for all eventualities in the best way possible. Please check our website regularly. We will publish the latest information as soon as the situation changes or new measures are taken.
I would like to thank you all for your hard work and support, and above all for your understanding during this extraordinary time. Please stay – virtually – in contact and exchange ideas. Only together will we master this great challenge. And I am convinced that we will master it!
I wish you all the best and most importantly: stay healthy.
