Andreas Biagosch appointed honorary professor

Congratulations to Dr. Andreas Biagosch, new honorary professor at TUM. On his official appointment last week, Gunther Friedl, Dean of the TUM School of Management, emphasized Biagosch’s extraordinary commitment to TUM and his innovative teaching format. He was a great enrichment for the Faculty of Management.  

Dr. Andreas Biagosch has been associated with the TUM School of Management for many years. Now he is also an official member of the faculty. Dean Gunther Friedl appointed Biagosch honorary professor at the End oft the Year Event. Biagosch is a TUM alumnus, completed his studies as a graduate engineer in 1974 and later received his doctorate. After 28 years at the international management consultancy McKinsey, he took up a teaching position at his Alma Mater, among other things teaching the Case Seminar at the Chair of Controlling. 

He also works for start-ups and large family businesses. As a member of the advisory board of the UnternehmerTUM-Fonds, he helps founders with the financing of start-ups and also serves on various supervisory and advisory boards. “In view of the new focus on family businesses at the TUM Campus Heilbronn, these activities are of great importance for the TUM School of Management”, said Gunther Friedl in his laudation. With his experience, Biagosch has made a significant contribution to the positioning of the new campus.
