Award winners of the Research Fest 2018
Last week the Research Fest of TUM School of Management took place on May 4, 2018. The Research Fest gives all academic departments the opportunity to present their current research projects in a poster exhibition and win a prize, the “Best Poster Award”.
This year’s winners of the “Best Poster Award 2018” are Bernhard Mohr, Irina Dolgopolova, Carola Grebitus with Prof. Jutta Roosen, who exhibited a poster on the research topic “Burgers and Tears: The role of emotions in fast food choices of young adults”. Maximilian Pohl was placed second with his poster “Airport Runway Scheduling, Winter Operations: How to minimize delay when wheather gets rough”, Frank Hage and Martin Grunow were placed third with their research poster on the topic “Coordination mechanism in sales and operations planning: How to tackle untruthful information sharing in intra-organizational planning? “.

Moreover, the TUM School of Management “Supervisory Award 2018” was awarded. Every doctoral candidate who is a member of the TUM Graduate School could nominate her or his supervisor for the award. There were 13 nominations for this year’s TUM SoM Supervisory Award 2018, five female and eight male candidates. Winning criterias were amongst others a high scientific standard of the supervision and doctoral courses, regular and intensive research meetings, the support for international reserach stays and conferences and an active support while developing the research question. The winners are Prof. Alwine Mohnen, Prof. Hanna Hottenrott and Prof. Nicola Breugst.
