Christoph Gschnaidtner of the Chair of Economics elected Graduate Council Spokesperson
Christoph Gschnaidtner, who is a research and teaching assistant at TUM School of Management’s Chair of Economics, was elected spokesperson to the Graduate Council of the TUM Graduate School. In the upcoming term Christoph Gschnaidtner will represent the interests of candidates at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the Graduate Council and beyond.
The Graduate Council consists of two chosen representatives from each Graduate Center and meets regularly to discuss topics relating to doctoral studies. The set objectives of the Graduate Council include giving doctoral candidates the opportunity to develop academic and professional networks and discussing areas of university policy that are relevant for doctoral candidates. In addition, the Graduate Council offers support and help to doctoral candidates having difficulties.
Since 2014, Christoph Gschnaidtner is a doctoral candidate at Univ.-Prof. Dr. Robert K. Frhr. von Weizsäcker’s Chair of Economics. He has master’s degrees in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science as well as Financial- and Informationmanagement from the Technical University Munich and Augsburg University. His main research interests are behavioral macroeconomics, institutional economics and financial mathematics.
