Class of 2019 Completes On-Site Period at TUM with Final Pitches of Individual Projects

Our Class of 2019 cleared a major milestone on their way towards certification as Executive MBAs in Innovation & Business Creation. On 13 September, 2018, participants presented their individual business projects during the final pitch event, officially wrapping up the on-site part of their studies at TUM and UnternehmerTUM.

The class had spent the entire summer refining the individual business concepts during speed pitches and other feedback sessions. Now it was time for the moment of truth: 23 teams with concepts in segments such as Food, Mobility, Healthcare, Consulting, Consumer Goods and Financial Services presented their business plans in two parallel sessions in front of a select jury.

The members of the jury represent a who-is-who from our expert network. Jury members included Prof. Dr. Bernd Mühlfriedel (Professor for Entrepreneurship & SME Management), Oliver Bücken (Lecturer for Entrepreneurship and Business Angel), Laurence Gaubert-Quednau (Mentor and Financial Expert), Martin Toth (Entrepreneur and Business Angel), Bettina Scheibe (Investment Manager and Entrepreneur by heart), Philipp Engelhardt (Researcher and Expert on growth), Dr. Anne Kreile (Neuroscientist and Investment Specialist).

Rounding out their MBA journeys, the class took a day for personal development on 14 September with Katja Bossert and TUM business coaches to look ahead into the future true to the motto “My Way Forward”.
