Customized Programs TUM Santander Management Keys Completes Third Edition
Our successful Customized Program in close cooperation with Santander Consumer Bank AG concluded what is now its third edition in September 2017. Conceptualized to meet the specific needs of employees in middle management, the TUM Santander Management Keys program attracted 20 highly engaged participants, who worked together closely as a group, in its most recent iteration.
The highly practice-oriented program encourages participants to adopt an international perspective while preparing for the challenging of upper management positions. TUM Santander Management Keys consists of five separate modules, with the first and last modules conducted here on TUM campus in Munich.
The program kicked off in January 2017 with Module 1 “Strategy and Innovation Management“, followed by Module 2 “Risk Management & Corporate Assessment”, Module 3 “Change Management & Company Culture” and Module 4 “Trust Building & Communication”. The program concluded in September with Module 5 “Leadership & International Cooperation”.
Drawing on current practical examples, Dr. Helmut Krcmar, Academic Director of our Executive MBA in Business & IT, outlined the latest technological advancements and leadership study results on “Leading Virtual Teams.” Addressing another trending topic, Dr. Prisca Brosi vom TUM of the TUM chair of Strategy and Organization presented a perspective on “Excellence in Leadership, Good Leadership in the World of Tomorrow.”
Exploring the challenges of a globalized world economy, Dr. Hanjo Gergs emphasized the “Role of Inter-Cultural Communications” for successful business leaders in global organizations.
On 31 August, all participants received their certificates during a festive ceremony in Weihenstephan with the Managing Director of Human Resources at Santander Consumer Bank AG. We congratulate all participants and wish them the best for applying their new skills as modern-day business leaders.
