EMBA “Class of 2018” completes study trip to China

During the past two weeks, our Executive MBA class completed their international study trip to China.

While visiting China’s first national start up hub for innovation and technology, Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park, our Executive MBA participants were invited to enter into dialogue with over 100 representatives from chinese companies. The conference “Shape the Future: Partnership between China and EU“ aimed at creating an ideas platform for possibilities to cooperate and to discuss chances and challenges of intercultural collaboration.

The main topics included Doing Business in Bavaria; Building Trust between China and Europe; Different Images ‘Made in Germany‘ and ‘Made in China‘; China’s responsibility in Africa and what they can learn from Europe’s mistakes.

Overall, the studies abroad module ‘International Management & Intercultural Cooperation‘ could not have been put into practice any better. We thank Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park’s partners for the exciting exchange. Our special thanks go to Qing Zhang, participant of our EMBA Class of 2018, who made this unique intercultural experience possible!
