EMBA Class of 2019 Completes Module “Leadership & Cooperation”, Receives Personal Leadership Profiles

In early February, our Executive Class of 2019 completed its next module: Under the heading “Leadership & Cooperation” participants explored strategic leadership of teams as well as the role of mutual cooperation in an organizational context.

As an important milestone in their careers, participants received the completed versions of their Personal Leadership Profiles containing individual feedback on their strengths and areas worth improvement. Developed under the guidance of our Leadership Development team Dr. Ellen Schmid and Dr. Kristin Knipfer, the profiles are now also supplemented by digital teaching tools: During the module, the team premiered our new Leadership Reflection App as a constant part of future courses.

In virtual training sessions with the app’s Digital Leadership Coach “Emma”, participants received feedback on their leadership skills. A major motivational boost for the final stretch on the way towards Executive MBA certification came from a lecture by a member of our Executive Education board, former Major General of the German Armed Forces Achim Lidsba.

Looking ahead, the class is preparing for its upcoming research stint at partner university Tsinghua University Beijing in China and planning events such as company visits with  enterprises in the Asian business metropolis. The next iteration of our Executive MBA program will begin in May and we look forward to meeting our Class of 2020.
