EMBA Class of 2019 Prepares for EMBA Elective Module “Operations & Supply Chain Management”
Participants in our Class of 2019 in the Executive MBA Program are entering the final stretch before graduation: From 14 – 18 September, 2018, they will be completing their final elective module on “Operations & Supply Chain Management”. The majority of the class will receive their Executive MBA Certificates right afterwards, while a few are still completing their master theses.
Introduced on year ago, elective modules have become an integral component of the Executive MBA programs at the TUM School of Management. Supplementing the mandatory modules on the curriculum, electives allow for the targeted specialization in current management issues from global business practice.
In the elective module on “Operations & Supply Chain Management”, about our participants will be introduced to current findings on Process Management, Supply Chain Management, as well as Procurement. In the latter field, adjunct lecturer Jonny Schmidt will share extensive experience from decades in this segment, including a role as Senior VP for Project Procurement Management at Siemens AG.
In the focus segmenton Supply Chain Management, Prof. Dr. Martin Grunow and Prof. Dr. Holly Ott from the TUM Chair for Production and Supply Chain Management will discuss the latest technological developments in the supply chains of global enterprises together with related approaches to leadership. Current best practices in Operations Management will be showcased by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch, who holds the TUM chair for Operations Management.
Participants will also be introduced to the latest trends in Logistics and Inventory Management, presented by Prof. Dr. Stefan Minner. We wish all of our participants the best for their final stages of their Executive MBA degrees.
