Battery Essentials for Smart Selection & Integration

Language: English
Location: Garching near Munich
Duration: 4 days in 1 week
Start: 01 December 2026
Cost: 3,290 EUR
ECTS: 2
Battery technologies are at the core of electrification, powering a rapidly expanding market in mobility, industry, consumer products, and energy systems. Yet entering the battery value chain remains challenging because of strong market leaders, global uncertainties, and the technical complexity spanning multiple disciplines.

This program is designed for professionals and leaders in industries transitioning to battery-based solutions or planning to launch such products without becoming battery manufacturers. It offers a clear and practical overview of battery technologies, performance trade-offs, system-level considerations, and market structures. Participants gain the knowledge to make well-founded decisions on battery selection, integration, and sourcing. By linking technical basics with strategic and commercial perspectives, the program supports informed decision-making when working with established suppliers and identifying realistic innovation opportunities.

The program combines theory-focused mornings with hands-on afternoon sessions that translate concepts into practice. At the end of the program, participants receive an official certificate from the Technical University of Munich.

This certificate program has been developed in collaboration with EuroTeQ Engineering University and is a part of the Erasmus+ microcredentials initiative focused on Green and Digital skills, co-funded by the European Union.
