She describes this period as intense, but manageable thanks to the flexibility of the program, which allowed her to balance studies, entrepreneurship, and professional commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cFor me, the greatest part was the people in the MBA\u2014students from many backgrounds and industries. I have my own business, and it was enriching to learn from classmates in other fields and professions. In the interview, he adds that working with peers from areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, and healthcare brought new perspectives to familiar topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThe knowledge sharing and support among students went beyond my expectations.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Gerardo Ayala Solano<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As he explains in the interview, this dynamic was also shaped by the way courses were taught. Gerardo describes how professors responded to what was happening in the room, linking theory to practical challenges and opening up space for discussion. He also points out that many of the connections formed during the program continue beyond it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Gerardo, encounters with companies, guest speakers, and fellow participants have developed into lasting professional relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAlthough the modules have ended, the connections and learning continue beyond the classroom.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Gerardo Ayala Solano<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"nimesh-turning-ideas-into-impact\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nimesh: Turning Ideas into Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n<style>#gspb_image-id-gsbp-b2717a6 img{object-fit:fill;}#gspb_image-id-gsbp-b2717a6 img{object-position:36% 61%;}#gspb_image-id-gsbp-b2717a6 img{vertical-align:top;}#gspb_image-id-gsbp-b2717a6 img{display:inline-block;box-sizing:border-box;max-width:100%;height:auto;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-greenshift-blocks-image gspb_image gspb_image-id-gsbp-b2717a6\" id=\"gspb_image-id-gsbp-b2717a6\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lll.tum.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Nimesh-Karia-IBC-scaled.jpg\" data-src=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1703\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nimesh used his time at TUM to develop and launch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamu-tamu.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tamu-Tamu<\/a>*, a food brand focused on sourcing nuts from smallholder farmers in Africa and processing them in Europe. And his journey at TUM doesn\u2019t end yet: Nimesh is in touch with colleagues at the TUM Venture Lab in food and agriculture, describing the environment as open and supportive for further developing his idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThe TUM ecosystem for startups is also fantastic; it\u2019s very comparable to Silicon Valley.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Nimesh Karia<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He points to the study trip to Berkeley as a highlight. Being there gave him a direct impression of how the Silicon Valley ecosystem works and how it compares to what is being built at TUM. Nimesh also mentions the role of the network. The Venture Lab helped him develop his idea further and explore potential partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cJoining a program like this opens many doors and opportunities. I can definitely recommend it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Nimesh Karia<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What started as a concept gradually took shape as a concrete business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.078), 15px);\">* Tamu-Tamu products are also available at Caf\u00e9 Vista in Munich, which is operated by Nimesh Karia himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-would-you-tell-other-interested-parties-especially-colleagues-from-architecture-firms-about-the-course-what-do-you-think-distinguishes-our-program-from-other-offers\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sam: Expanding Perspectives Through Diverse Minds<\/h2>\n\n\n<style>#gspb_image-id-gsbp-e41500a img{object-fit:fill;}#gspb_image-id-gsbp-e41500a img{object-position:33% 64%;}#gspb_image-id-gsbp-e41500a img{vertical-align:top;}#gspb_image-id-gsbp-e41500a img{display:inline-block;box-sizing:border-box;max-width:100%;height:auto;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-greenshift-blocks-image gspb_image gspb_image-id-gsbp-e41500a\" id=\"gspb_image-id-gsbp-e41500a\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lll.tum.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Hossam-Khourshd-EMBA-scaled.jpg\" data-src=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1703\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Different industries often approach the same challenge in very different ways. In the interview, Sam describes how experiencing these contrasts firsthand became a defining part of his Executive MBA journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s because Sam was part of a cohort made up of professionals from fields such as healthcare, chemistry, and insurance. For him, this mix influenced how topics were discussed in class. He notes that many discussions helped him see how others approach similar challenges from different angles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cEvery topic has multiple sides to consider, not just your own angle.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Sam Khourshd<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exchange was not limited to peers. Interaction with faculty also played a central role.
