At the time of writing, participants in our Executive MBA in Business & IT are learning the fundamental skills for planning financial decisions. Since 11 December, 2017 our five-day module “Finance & Accounting” provides the necessary tools in the area of corporate financing here at TUM School of Management.

Headed by TUM experts Prof. Dr. Gunter Friedl and Prof. Dr. Christoph Kaserer, the module takes a practice-oriented approach to presenting aspects such as “Financial Statements and Analysis”, “Management Accounting” as well as “Corporate Finance and Evaluation”.

The module can also be booked as a stand-alone certificate program and focuses on dealing with financial risks in a proactive, metrics-based manner. Participants also learn how to evaluate business value by interpreting key indicators from corporate financial reports. “Finance & Accounting” also covers the pros and cons of a variety of investment categories – including real estate, loans, bonds, stocks, etc. – as the basis for strategic financial leadership.
