First Edition of New “TUM Track” Successfully Kicked Off at TUM Campus Heilbronn

On 9 October, the very first edition of the new TUM Track in our Master in Management & Innovation started at the new TUM Campus in Heilbronn. The first module of the four-semester program explored the topic “Management Science”.

Focus areas over the current winter semester include strategy as well as business law and “Communication in a Digital World”. A guided tour of the city provided opportunities for participants to meet their peers and learn about the city of Heilbronn. For live examples of successful companies in the emerging innovation, the class visited Hirschmann laboratory equipment and Schunk.

The upcoming module “Production & Logistics” will start on 13 November at TUM Campus Heilbronn. It will feature presentations by TUM experts Prof. Rainer Kolisch, Prof. Stefan Minner, and Prof. Martin Grunow on current technological developments in the manufacturing segment and in globally connected supply chains.

Specifically aimed at young professionals who recently graduated and earned their first professional experience, the English-language Master in Management & Innovation program is focused on the following areas: General Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology. Over the course of two years, the master’s degree program aims at the targeted development of leadership skills for innovation managers of the future ready to hold key positions in innovation management, process optimization, corporate development, and within a start-up environment.
