Global Challenges: Ban Ki-moon at TUM Speakers Series

For ten years, he steered the United Nations, now we are honoured to welcome Ban Ki-moon at the TUM Speakers Series on Friday, February 14th. The former UN Secretary General will talk about “Global Solutions for Global Challenges – The Need to Defend Multilateralism in 2020”. It’s an official side event to the Munich Security Conference.

As Secretary-General of the United Nations,Ban Ki-moon has sought to be a bridge-builder, to give voice to the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people, and to strengthen the United Nations itself. He contributed substantially to the successful implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement to tackle climate change. He created UN Women, a new agency that advocates for women’s rights and gender equality.

The event will be streamed live on YouTube.
