Graduation Ceremony “Tag der Fakultät” on June 28, 2019
We are proud to report this year’s TUM School of Management graduation ceremony “Tag der Fakultät” concluded with great success.
About 400 bachelor and master students witnessed the opening of the ceremony by TUM School of Management’s dean, Prof. Dr. Gunther Friedl. Other highlights were the inspiring speeches given by Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus, Senior Vice President of the Technical University of Munich and Dr. Victoria Ossadnik, CEO of E.ON Germany.
Graduates with outstanding achievements were granted the Social Impact Award as well as the Oliver Wyman Award.
Prof. Dr. Holger Patzelt, Vice Dean of Student Affairs of the TUM School of Management, gave out the “Social Impact Award” to Altus Viljoen for his master thesis “Developing a health information system for developing countries”. In recognition of his excellent academic achievements during the Bachelor degree program, Dennis Manteuffel, Principal at Oliver Wyman, handed over the “Oliver Wyman Award” to Andrej Safundzic.
After the award presentation, TUM School of Management’s professors and faculty members bid farewell to 235 bachelor and 165 master graduates.
Spirits were high at the following graduation party later that night, when the TUM Management Alumni e.V. invited graduates to celebrate at Café Luitpold. Festivities went on in jolly atmosphere until late in the evening.
We sincerely congratulate all our graduates and award winners and would like to thank all those involved for their participation and active involvement.
