Guest speakers at Chair of Technology and Innovation Management

From November 21, 2017 until January 23, 2017 TUM School of Management’s Chair of Technology and Innovation Management lead by Professor Dr. Joachim Henkel, will welcome six guest speakers that will provide insights into the topics Virtual Reality, Data Science and Smart Data, Blockchains and E-Mobility. Professor Henkel conducts research in the area of innovation management and entrepreneurship with a focus on selective openness in innovation processes.

On November 21, 2017 Dominic Eskofier, Head of Virtual Reality EMEAI at NVIDIA, will open the guest speaker series with his presentation on how to turn Virtual Reality into Real Business.

Michael Reuter, Co-Founder of Datarella, will give information on the topic Blockchains: Opportunities
for Innovation and Financing on November 28, 2017.

Dr. Shivaji Dasgupta, Head of Big Data & Advanced Analytics at Versicherungskammer Bayern (VKB), will give insights into Smart Data and AI in Public Insurance on December 5, 2017.

On January 9, 2018 Stefan Kriebel, Head of Projects Electric Powertrain at BMW AG, will talk on E-Mobility at BMW.

Furthermore, Marc Hilbert, Team Lead at the VW Data:Lab, will explain Data Science at VW Data:Lab on January 22, 2018.

On January 23, 2018 Phillip Balonier, Managing Director at ThreeDee GmbH, will provide an insight on the topic Virtual Reality: Applications in Healthcare, Architecture and Engineering.
