International Summer School 2019 lecturers

We are happy to welcome four founders of successful sustainable businesses as lecturers for the 2019 International Summer School. The participants of the 2019 International Summer School will get an insider look at sustainability in four different industries and expert help in becoming sustainable entrepreneurs:

  • Dr. Aline Menden is co-founder and managing director of Endeva, a network for acceleration of business innovation, and a TUM School of Management alumnus. One of her many areas of expertise is the integration of low-income consumers into the process of creating sustainable solutions.
  • Florian Henle is in charge of Business Development, Energy Trading, Finance and Marketing as Co-Founder and CEO of Polarstern Energie, an energy provider offering 100% renewable energy. Polarstern has received many green certifications and was named Innovator of the Year for two years in a row.
  • Dr. Fabian Riedel is the founder of Crusta Nova, one of Europe’s largest sustainable onshore seafood farms. The closed-cycle production methods are resource-efficient and help protect the oceans from overfishing. Crusta Nova received the Bayerischer Gründer Preis for Startups in 2017.
  • Bernd Hausmann is the founder of Glore, a globally responsible fashion store. Glore only carries products certified as ecologically and socially sustainable, and now has nine stores and an online shop.

We can’t wait to welcome them and these inspiring lecturers to the TUM School of Management! The summer school will take place from July 15 to July 26.
