maiTUM continues TUM’s 150-year-anniversary celebrations

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) has been holding traditional “Maifest” celebration maiTUM since 2015. In 2018, the celebrations will be tied to the 150-year anniversary of TUM.

Taking place on May 3 and 4, 2018 at TUM Campus Garching and coinciding with the local staff party, the event will feature traditional attractions such as a ferris wheel and even keg tapping with the president of the university. Alongside the regular “Maifest” attractions and decorations, the event will also feature presentations such as cabaret artist Wolfgang Krebs and a panel with all astronauts from the D-2 mission.

The TUM will be sending camera teams to the location and the whole event will be covered.

More information including the full program, dates and times can be found on maiTUM’s official site.
