Make Munich Weird – Ways to a Crazy City

Cities are full of complexity, diversity and contradictions. To ensure that they can also be a source of creativity, innovation and a responsible urban society, they need free space to develop. This is especially important in times of digitalization, because it is changing urban life.

The initiative “Make Munich Weird” calls for spaces and diversity in the city to make Munich different, unplanned, divergent, edgy, lively – and future-proof. It was founded by professors and researchers of the Faculties of Architecture and Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and aims to encourage people and institutions from the various sectors of urban society to do crazy things together.
