MakerSpace to offer free tours

MakerSpace is a publicly accessible, 1,500-square-meter, high-tech workshop that provides members with access to machinery, tools, software, and a creative community. MakerSpace opened in 2015 and addresses ambitious start-ups, do-it-yourself-oriented and creative people. The innovation hub offers a place to realize ideas and innovations in the form of prototypes and small productions. There are various plant areas featuring machine, metal and wood workshops as well as textile and electrical processing facilities. 3D printers, laser cutters and water jet cutting machines also offer the opportunity to produce new shapes and to process all materials. For support and networking MakerSpace offers training and consulting services and events for members of all levels of knowledge.

MakerSpace offers free tours from Monday to Friday at 3 pm and 7 pm and from Saturday to Sunday at 3 pm. During these tours, students and interested persons are invited to get to know the facilities.

More information on the tours can be found here.

A video of the tours is available here.
