Participants Complete Module “Markets, Laws & Ethics”/Module “Strategy & Organization” starts in April 2018
The latest research at the intersection of marketing, legal frameworks, and ethical implications were at the center of our Executive MBA in Business & IT module “Markets, Law & Ethics” at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland from 5 – 9 March 2018.
Headed by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Jung, the module presented the latest academic and practical findings in all three areas. In marketing, Prof. Dr. Dennis Herhausen, Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of St. Gallen, showcased current trends such as innovation-driven marketing and customer-focused organizations.
Attorneys-at-law Angelica Dünner-Graf and Dr. Christoph Wildhaber Streichenberg explored the legal ramifications in the IT-segment. Business ethics and value-based leadership were at the center of the lecture by Dr. Thorsten Busch of the Institute for Business Ethics at the University of St. Gallen.
Looking ahead, our participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering strategic business development as well as digital transformation. From 16 – 20 April, 2018, the five-day Executive MBA in Business & IT Module “Strategy & Organization” will introduce fundamental strategic business tools here at the TUM Campus Munich.
For a direct transfer into business practice, participants will apply their newly acquired skills in a business simulation game presented by Prof. Dr. Thomas Hutzschenreuter, Chair of Strategic and International Management.
The latest insights and hands-on advice on Organizational Design will be covered by Dr. Prisca Brosi from the TUM Chair of Strategy and Organization. The module will also feature Dr. Silja Kennecke of the LMU Center for Leadership and People Management, who will discuss the nine strategic team roles according to Belbin.
The module will also invite a number of practical speakers from international organizations, including Carlos Härtel of GE Global Research. Participants will also attend a lecture by Kathrin Anselm at Limango on “Challenges In Phases Of Dynamic Growth – Strategy And Its Adaptations”.
For insights into the strategic planning processes at a world-leading organizer of trade fairs, we have invited Dr. Holger Feist, Head of Corporate Strategy at Messe München will present “Messe München and its Strategy”. As the module’s social event, an outing at a culinary school will provide opportunities for networking and team building.
