Munich ranks 6th best student city on QS Rankings 2018

The QS Best Student City rankings for 2018 have been published and Munich has placed 6th worldwide.

The annually-published study ranks the best destinations for international students based on a variety of factors grouped up into five categories: University Rankings, Student Mix, Desirability, Employer Activity and Affordability. Since 2017, the ranking has also included a sixth category “Student View”, which bases itself on testimonies and opinions given by students.

Germany has two entries in 2018’s top 10: Munich and Berlin. Munich has surpassed Berlin in this latest report due to its considerable increase in popularity among students who praised the city’s affordability, ease of getting around, nightlife and friendliness.
