Padmasree Warrior, USA CEO of NextEV, in the “Speakers Series”
Padmasree Warrior, manager of Chinese car manufacturer NextEV, will speak with students about the future of electro-mobility on January 16 as part of the “TUM Speakers Series”. The start-up recently presented what it said is the fastest electric car in the world, the NIO EP9. Warrior is the company’s Chief Development Officer and USA Chief Executive Officer.
Warrior has headed the San Jose office of Shanghai-based NextEV since the end of 2015. The company also has offices in London and in Munich, where the design department is located.
Padmasree Warrior is a member of the boards of Microsoft, Gap and Box. From 2008 until 2015 she was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Cisco Systems. Before that she served as Executive Vice President and CTO at Motorola.
Born in India, Warrior holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree from Cornell University (USA), both in chemical engineering.
TUFAST TO PRESENT ITS ELECTRIC RACE CAR
At the event students from the motor sports team TUfast will also present their electric race car eb016.
The “TUM Speakers Series” is organized by students of the TUM Business Club. This event has been organized in collaboration with Hubert Burda Media’s DLD Conference.
