Preview: Module “Strategy & Organization” Kicks Off in April 2018

What is the impact of strategic leadership on overall company success and what can IT contribute as a key tool in developing corporate strategy? These topics are at the center of our Executive MBA in Business & IT Module “Strategy & Organization” from 16 – 20 April here on the TUM Campus Munich.

The five-day module will showcase the basic concepts behind the development, implementation, and execution of corporate strategies. Participants are acquainted with important business tools such as strategic analyses. The latest findings and best practices in Organizational Design will be presented by Prof. Dr. Isabell M. Welpe, TUM Chair of Strategy and Organization.

Participants will also have a chance to apply their new skills directly: A business simulation game developed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Hutzschenreuter, Chair of Strategic and International Management, rewards strategic thinking and fact-based decisions.

For insights into the strategic planning processes at a world-leading organizer of trade fairs, we have invited Dr. Holger Feist, Head of Corporate Strategy at Messe München for a presentation on the long-term strategy of the international organization.
