Prof. Achleitner elected as new member of the acatech executive board

The NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (acatech) is an independent German organization that represents the interests of the German scientific and technological communities. They provide recommendations for policy makers as well as society and support knowledge transfer between science and industry. As a highly reputable organization they are heard by the German government on ongoing topics and develop frameworks for future directions. Prof. Ann-Kristin Achleitner is currently involved in the project “Enhancing Germany’s innovative capacity”. She holds the Chair of Entrepreneurial Finance and is scientific co-director of the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies (CEFS) at the TUM School of Management. With her, the acatech executive board gains a proven expert for innovation financing, venture capital, over-the-counter capital and family businesses. The economist and social scientist has been an acatech member since 2014.
