Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ann-Kristin Achleitner is patron of the 29th EBS Symposium
The 29th EBS Symposium will take place from September 19 to September 21, 2018 in Oestrich-Winkel near Frankfurt. The EBS Symposium is one of the largest and most prestigious student-run business conferences in Europe, which provides the opportunity to network and be part of recruiting events, as well as participate in workshops and company interviews.
The topic of 2018 is “Embrace the Change! Yours sincerely, the Future”, which relates to the ongoing changes in the job market and the challenges that companies are currently facing. Traditional German Companies are being required to change their organizational structure in order to cope with the upcoming start-ups from Silicon Valley.
This year’s patron is Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ann-Kristin Achleitner who has held the Chair of Entrepreneurial Finance at TUM School of Management since 2001 and has been Scientific Co-Director at the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies (CEFS) at Technical University of Munich (TUM) since 2003. Prof. Achleitner conducts research in the area of entrepreneurial finance with a focus on the financing of innovation, venture capital, private equity, and family businesses
