Prof. Dr. Joachim Henkel has joined the expert group “Research and Innovation in Switzerland 2020” of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and will participate in the development of the 2020 edition of its “Research and Innovation” report.

The “Research and Innovation” expert group oversees the creation of a report presenting a comprehensive picture of research and innovation in Switzerland. It aims to describe systemic interactions and identifying unique characteristics in an international context and comparison.
The creation of the reports is made possible by the SERI within the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER). It is the federal government’s specialized agency, which is concerned with national and international matters regarding education, research and innovation policy.
