Prof. Dr. Michael Suda receives Doce et Delecta Award
On July 6, Prof. Dr. Michael Suda received the Doce et Delecta Award. The Award was presented at this year’s graduation ceremony of the TUM Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering. Every year, the department’s student council honors excellent lectures with this award, which is given out on the basis of the conducted student evaluations.
Prof. Suda is head of the Chair of Forest and Environmental Policy at the Technical University of Munich since 1999. Moreover, he is professor of the Academic Department “Economics & Policy” at TUM School of Management, which examines economic processes with a focus on the role of public policy. Prof. Suda conducts research in the areas traditional forestry policy, environmental communications, natural hazards and environmental governance policy. One field of specialization of his teaching is humor and knowledge transfer.
