Prof. Dr. Stefan Hirsch joins TUM School of Management
On April 1, 2018, Prof. Dr. Stefan Hirsch will join the TUM School of Management as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor. Prof. Hirsch conducts research in the fields of agricultural and food business economics.
Since 2016, Stefan Hirsch is a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich where he conducted research in the areas agriculture and food economics, production economics, and consumer research. Prior to that, he did his doctorate and was a research fellow at the University of Bonn. During this time, he was also a visiting research fellow at Arizona State University and the University of Connecticut.
At the Technical University of Munich, promising young scientist from around the world have the possibility to take part in the TUM Faculty Tenure Track. Highly qualified candidates are appointed as assistant professors with prospects for performance-based advancement to a permanent professorship. With further research achievements at the highest international level, this path can lead to promotion to a chair position.
