Prof. Thomas Hutzschenreuter: Saving the Corporate Landscape

“With the attack of the coronavirus on our health, the basic security of our economy is gone”, says Prof. Dr. Thomas Hutzschenreuter in his article “Saving the Corporate Landscape“, published in Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung this week. In the article, he addresses the current situation and its implications for the corporate landscape in Germany. “With the attack of the coronavirus on our health, the basic security of our economy is gone”, says Prof. Hutzschenreuter. “It is not only a matter of eliminating the virus, but of living with the virus. The extensive financial aid measures passed by our government could help save companies from imminent insolvency in the short term”, he says, “however, corporations have to ensure their long-term survival themselves”.

Professor Hutzschenreuter’s research focuses on Strategic and International Management. On March 1, 2020, Prof. Hutzschenreuter was appointed new Vice Dean International Affairs & Alliances at TUM School of Management.
