Reuter Ranking: TUM is one of the 10 most innovative universities in Europe

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) has made it for the third year in a row into Reuter’s Top 10 most innovative universities in Europe. TUM has placed 6th on the ranking.

The british agency takes into consideration the strength on the institution’s research results and/or inventions in relation to technological and economic advancements. Examples of information tracked by the agency for its list include:

how many patents the university has registered, especially internationally
how many times these patents were cited in other entries
instances of publications by the university being cited in patent entries or industry publications
