Save the Date: Welcome Day and Night of Science in Heilbronn

Soon the winter semester begins. In order to ensure that new students have the best possible start at the TUM School of Management’s Heilbronn-Campus a Welcome Day will be held at Bildungscampus 2 in Heilbronn on 10 October 2019. Those who begin their first semester of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses will get insights into their study program from 3 p.m. on this day. At 4 p.m. the student body representatives will introduce themselves.

Freshmen can find out more about the Technical University of Munich and other courses of study offered there from various exhibitors and during a campus tour. The Welcome Day also offers new students the chance to socialize and get to know each other during a social program. There will be two guided city tours on a hop-on-hop-off bus ending at the Fischer Winery from 5 p.m. onwards.

Digital learning in the XR-Lab

The Welcome Day will be followed by Heilbronn’s Night of Science (Nacht der Wissenschaft). In the basement of the TUM Tower there will be a Digital Reality Lab (XR-Lab): visitors can immerse themselves in virtual worlds and experience innovative technologies up close. The XR-Lab improves management education through digital learning. For example, digital personnel interviews can be simulated with different characters or lecture situations can be practiced digitally in front of an audience. If you want to get to know the TUM School of Management in a relaxed way, you can get some popcorn and watch movies at the TUM Film Lounge.
