Second Round of TUM Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Will Commence in November
Following the enormous success of our Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for certification as a TUM Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, our supplemental offering of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt will begin its second round on 1 November.
The course will be offered on the TUM e-learning platform moodle and provides the following new features: Participants work entirely online and receive coaching via the digital platform. The coaching will cover all stages of the DMAIC, from project selection all the way into implementation.
As the foundation for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, participants will work on a real project within their own organization and go through the separate DMAIC phases. So far, the course has already attracted an international following from countries such as Brazil, China, Ecuador, Germany, India, Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Oman, Spain, Russia, Great Britain, and the United States.
The projects submitted by our participants – for which they must receive approval by a sponsor within their organization – are just as diverse: In the service segment, participants are improving processes in maintenance, call centers, sales, as well as selection and planning processes. Manufacturing-oriented projects include production of raw materials, semi-manufactured materials, components, machinery, all the way to pharmaceuticals.
Please note: The application period for the next TUM Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is open from 1 – 31 January, 2019. For all relevant details, please visit the official website.
