Spotlight: These are the International Study Trips in our Executive MBA in Business & IT

Today’s business leaders require an international perspective to master the challenges of a digitally disrupted market environment. For this reason, international study trips to visit our academic exchange partners have become a fundamental aspect of our Executive MBA in Business & IT. In this short spotlight, we would like to provide an overview of the international options for 2018 programs:

  • Tsinghua University Beijing lets participants explore the focus area “Doing Business in China” with company visits to BMW, Huawei, and Brunswick supported by Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communications (SJC) and Tsinghua School of Economics and Management (SEC).
  • Santa Clara University features interactive workshops on innovation and venture capital as well as company visits for full immersion in the unique start-up-culture found in Silicon Valley.
  • Berkeley & the Bay Area includes lectures at UC Berkeley with Jerry Engel and David E. Charron of the university’s Lester Center for Entrepreneurship, supplemented by company visits at leading innovative firms around the Bay Area like Google and Dash Robotics.
  • Shanghai Jiao Tong University focuses on strategic management with a Chinese perspective and business engineering, supported by seminars and company visits to leading enterprises based in Shanghai.

Every participant will complete one international study trip as an integral part of the program. For more information about the offerings with our academic exchange partners and the curriculum of our Executive MBA in Business & IT, please visit the official program page.
