The well-known German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche publishes new research ranking for business

The German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche has published the new research ranking for business. The ranking shows the number of research publications for the 200 most successful universities in the German-speaking areas. The TUM School of Management secured an outstanding second place in the ranking, only beaten by the University of St. Gallen of Switzerland. Since 2008, researchers at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have published over 1300 articles in leading business journals. Wirtschaftswoche argues that one of the reasons of TUM School of Management’s success is due to its close relationships to industry which also led to the commitment of the Dieter-Schwarz-Stiftung to work with TUM.

In the article, you can also read about the planned opening of the TUM tower at the Campus Heilbronn on January 31. The campus in Heilbronn benefits from the great reputation of the TUM, while the university benefits from local entrepreneurship. The dynamic city Heilbronn offers strong economic growth, especially medium-sized companies are continuously successful there. Moreover, the construction of the new TUM Tower is progressing well. Around one thousand students are planned to begin their studies at the new campus within the next few years.
