TUM Campus Run 2018
This year’s TUM Campus Run will take place on May 3, 2018, at 3 p.m. as part of Technical University of Munich’s (TUM) jubilee year program of the maiTUM festivities, which will be held on campus Garching for the first time. The annual TUM Campus Run is organized by the Junge Akademie – TUM’s scholarship program for exceptionally talented and dedicated students. For the first time, the campus run is organized in cooperation with the TUM School of Management.
Every student, employee or alumni of the TUM can participate in the run. Participants can choose to either run the 11 km track or the 5.5 km track. It is also possible to take part in the run as a team. There will also be a chair- and a professor-challenge, in which the fastest chair team, the fastest female professor and the fastest male professor in the 11 km track will be awarded. The registration will open in February.
As preparation for the TUM campus run, the Junge Akademie organizes a weekly running session in the Englischer Garten. The group running takes place every Saturday at 11 a.m. and starts from the “Milchhäusl” close to the subway station “Universität”.
