TUM Management Alumni e.V. grants Social Impact Award
On May 12, 2017, the TUM Management Alumni e.V granted the first Social Impact Award, endowed with 2,000 Euros, within the context of TUM School of Management’s Graduation Ceremony “Tag der Fakultät”.
This year´s proud winner is Integreat, a project founded by a group of TUM School of Management students around Daniel Kehne. The heart of the project is a smartphone application with an offline modus that allows municipalities to share and create important local information for refugees in their area.
The Social Impact Award was created in order to honor innovative projects of students in the area of social business and social entrepreneurship. In order to be eligible, students needed not only to theoretically structure their project, but also to gain some hands-on experience by working together with companies or other organizations on their respective assignment.
The Award was open for all students of TUM School of Management.
Further information about Integreat can be found here on the project´s website.
