Together with two other business schools, TUM School of Management was featured in an article in Süddeutsche Zeitung in which the Career Services of each business school were highlighted. The article puts special emphasis on the growing importance of good career services which can provide an intersection between students and companies, thereby supporting and fostering students entering the job market.
TUM School of Management is dedicated to guide students in all matters regarding their career and career development. In order to successfully doing so, TUM School of Management collaborates closely with renowned companies and regularly organizes career events in order to establish first contacts between students and companies.
TUM School of Management offers four types of career services:
Firstly, the team organizes career events with the corporate partners all throughout the year. These events range from “Company Insights” or ”Meet the company” events to recruiting dinners and slightly more out of the ordinary events like Case Challenges and Escape Games. The next upcoming career event is the Career Fair: meet@TUM School of Management which will be held on November 23 this year.
Secondly, TUM School of Management provides all students with the possibility to present themselves to future employers by joining the talent pool. All corporate partners have direct access to this pool, which allows them to directly contact interesting students against the backdrop of internship or job opportunities.
Thirdly, TUM School of Management offers students the possibility to have their resumes and cover letters checked before applying for a job. The team is also striving to give branch-specific feedback on resume and references.
Lastly, the job board enables student to easily find job and internship opportunities tailored specifically to TUM School of Management’s students’ and academic profile.
