WARR Hyperloop team unveils their third prototype on June 14, 2018
Students of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) forming the “WARR Hyperloop” team unveil their newest pod prototype on June 14, 2018 at the third edition of the “Hyperloop Pod Competition”.
SpaceX founder Elon Musk launched the contest in 2015. The Hyperloop is the concept of a high-speed train designed to travel at near-sound velocity in a partial-vacuum tube. Student teams from around the world are called upon to create concepts for the so-called pod, the cabin capsule in which passengers are to be transported through the tube.
TUM’s team has already topped the competition twice and aims to do the same again in 2018.
