Master in Management & Innovation

Master in Vocational Education and Innovation (program currently under review)

The goal of the Master in Management & Innovation is to educate the innovation managers of the future. The program is aimed at young professionals with initial professional experience who would like to bridge the gap between management and technology. We are offering the “TUM Track” as well as the “Double Degree Track” in cooperation with the TUM School of Management, the HEC Paris and the TUM Campus Heilbronn.

As an international graduate program, the Master in Vocational Education and Innovation is aimed at professionals in the field of vocational education and training (VET). Participants develop competencies necessary for leading transformation processes in the VET sector. Participants will also gain insights into the expertise of the German dual system.

What are the characteristics of a Professional Master Program at TUM?

Our Professional Master Programs are aimed at young professionals who already gained first work experience in their respective field. A bachelor’s degree or higher is required for application. All programs are taught 100% in English..

What degree will you have after graduation?

You will receive a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from TUM after completion of the Master in Vocational Education and Innovation program and when you complete the Master in Management and Innovation TUM Track. If you choose and  successfully complete our Double Degree Track, you will additionally gain a Master in Management Grande Ecole Degree from HEC Paris.

How much are the fees for the programs?

The tuition fee for the Master in Management and Innovation TUM Track is 28,000 euros, the tuition fee for the Double Degree Track is 38,874 euros.

The intake 2022/23 of the Master in Vocational Education and Innovation is supported by the Federal ministry of Education and Research in Germany. Therefore, no tuition fees will be charged for successful applicants who are starting their Master studies in October 2022.
