In addition to the certificate from the Technical University of Munich, you can obtain the buildingSMART “Professional Certification – Foundation” and “Practitioner openBIM Management/Coordination” certificates.

Holistic approach to BIM: You will learn how BIM links technology, processes, people and guidelines and how you can use them efficiently in your projects.

The courses are closely aligned with the VDI Guideline 2552 on BIM, which is currently under development. This further training offers practical training and enables you to position yourself successfully for the future in the field of BIM.

Engineers and architects, managers, project managers, future BIM coordinators. At least 2 years of relevant professional experience and a university or technical college degree are ideal, but not mandatory.

BIM Professional Modules 1-4: 7.950 EUR excl. buildingSMART Practitioner examination fees

Individually bookable modules:
BIM Professional Module 1: 1.950 EUR incl. buildingSMART Foundation examination fees
BIM Professional Modules 2-4: 6.150 EUR excl. buildingSMART Practitioner examination fees
BIM Professional Module 4: 1.200 EUR (700 EUR for former graduates of BIM Professional until 2023) excl. buildingSMART Practitioner examination fees

Discounts:

Members of the Leonhard-Obermeyer-Center receive a 20% discount on the participation fee. TUM Alumni and members or employees of our other strategic cooperation partners (see below) receive a 10% discount on the participation fee.


* In our experience, tax benefits in Germany help many of our program participants to finance their education, as they can declare up to 50% of tuition fees and program-related travel expenses in their tax return.
