  • Assess the relevance of risk management and explain the psychological distortions that can arise in risk perception.
  • Geopolitical, macroeconomic, ESG/sustainability-related risks, risks arising from AI, (major) projects or IT security.
  • In the core area of risk management, identifying risks at an early stage, analyzing them using quantitative or qualitative methods, and providing advice on how to address them.

The program is aimed specifically at specialists and managers from all sectors, but does not specifically address banking and insurance-specific risks. This creates particular added value, as risk management is typically dominated by methods for the financial sector, but there is a growing need for comprehensive risk management in all other sectors.

Admission requirements:

Participants should have a university degree and at least two years of professional experience in a company or consultancy. In addition, basic knowledge of financial mathematics, basic knowledge of risk management and its legal requirements as well as a basic understanding of topics such as ESG, ESRS, sustainability, LkSG etc. are an advantage. Please feel free to contact us for exceptions.

Graduation:

After successfully passing the final examination, participants receive a certificate from the Technical University of Munich.
