The course was very intensive. It covered all the aspect of agriculture value-chain. At the start of our project phase at Kärcher, we were introduced to the most important people from the robotics team who provided us with the materials we needed. Through group interviews, we gathered valuable information for working on the objective questions. There were weekly feedback meetings to ensure mutual knowledge exchange. And although we could not be on site due to ongoing contact restrictions, we received continuous support.

Participating in this program stands out as the best highlight in my professional journey. The global network of diverse students, guidance from insightful mentors, and the program’s focus on innovation have profoundly enhanced my professional growth. Not only did this specialization teach me the proper techniques of accounting and the different methods of preparing an income statement, it also taught me how to learn independently, how to persevere with a problem to find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, enabled me to continue to develop my accounting skills.

As a transplant from California, I choose to participate actively in the Alumni Association in order to engage with the network of individuals from the university and to promote the exchange of experiences, opportunities, and connections, especially in the areas of lifelong professional learning and personal development.

One of the great things about the program is you can exchange idea with experts at eye level. Whether in short inspirational lectures or half-day course modules, there is always a great discussion based on vivid, real-life examples. This is a kind of emotional learning, not a purely abstract transfer of knowledge, as you know it from other training courses.

This program has given me access to a network with extensive expertise and experience. It is the ideal space to ask critical questions, discuss current developments and think outside the box. Although only a few months have passed since the end of the program, this network has already supported me in several projects.

Even though I am studying acoustics, this online course was a good addition. It was always very interesting as I was able to dive into some topics a bit deeper than in my previous (non-virtual) courses. My knowledge on some topics became more solid and detailed.

I was impressed by the variety of the course content and the professional organization of the course, as well as the presentation of many different perspectives on the BIM. I particularly enjoyed the presentations of the research work, which offered a fascinating glimpse into the future.

Timber construction has the potential to be recyclable. We show which aspects of degradability are crucial for this and how they can be integrated into design and planning strategies.

I found the exchange with top experts from the German BIM landscape, as well as with the course participants, stimulating, interesting and informative. The organizers mastered the balancing act between content transfer, workshops and informal discussions wonderfully.

The development of products that help customers reduce their carbon footprint has been driving me professionally for years. This product transformation always involves discussions – and now I feel event better equipped to deal with them.

The Brewer Cursus was a great success! TUM has highly motivated lecturers who are very passionate about the subjects. The topics were all very interesting. The practical brewing process itself was very hands-on. We brewed in small groups. I was able to take away many tips and tricks for my small brewing operation I am planning to expand.

I liked that the Specialization included step-by-step exercises and tutorials. Unlike exercises where a student can succeed by simply doing as directed, the assignments foster active learning. The assignments were where I discovered whether I truly understood the material. This Specialization produces real learning.

The program helped me to make our whole business concept way more scalable. We successfully developed our company from a consulting business to a technology driven business.
