The course Sustainable Innovation & Entrepreneurship addresses corporate innovation and entrepreneurship in response to evolving geopolitical, economic, environmental, technological, and societal realities, emphasizing the necessity for sustainable management approaches. The course aims to equip you with a deep understanding of increasingly multi-faceted global success factors and threats for corporate innovation strategies in an ever-changing environment.

The program focuses on two critical influencing success factors:

Integrating new disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Quantum Technology, and Robotics in daily business.

Develop innovation strategies based on sustainability concepts.

Both factors have shown their extensive potential to enhance the prospect of success of corporate innovation practices. Moreover, Sustainable Innovation & Entrepreneurship delves into the composition of effective entrepreneurial teams, focusing on talent identification and cultivating a working culture conducive to transforming promising ideas into business success. In a “Sustainable Innovation Project,” you will have the chance to work on a real innovation challenge. You will be supported by a professional innovation coach for several weeks and get feedback on your results from an expert jury.

5 ECTS credits possible:
The certificate program is eligible as an elective for our Executive MBA students if you do both the module and the project work with coaching session.

Sustainable Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Target group:

The program is designed for professionals from mid-sized to large corporations who wish to strengthen and improve their entrepreneurial activities with a sustainable management approach; and therefore need future-oriented evaluation frameworks to either improve their existing innovation strategies or develop new ones. Furthermore participants should be interested in diving deeper into thinking and acting like an entrepreneur.

Admission requirements:

You should bring a minimum of three years of professional working experience, along with expertise in innovation management. Additionally, you should be willing to tackle a current challenge from your current work environment. Graduation:

After successful completion of the final exam, participants will receive a certificate from the Technical University of Munich.

ECTS:

5 ECTS

Creditability:

The certificate can be used to earn 5 ECTS credits that are applicable to the Executive MBA programs at the Technical University of Munich. In order to receive 5 ECTS, you need to participate in the coaching session.

Program fees:

Seminar (on campus): 3,290 EUR
Project work with personalized coaching extension (online): 500 EUR
If you book the seminar and extension from the beginning, the whole program will cost you 3,490 EUR.*

Note for EMBA students: If this certificate program is taken as an elective module, the participation fee is included in the EMBA tuition. You can select this option during the registration process.
