Our Alumni Association creates a unique opportunity for lifelong learning and growth. I am happy to support this vibrant and strong community of professionals.

This course is a great chance to gain valuable experience in related challenges and problems as well as to acquire an understanding how to best apply and execute tools and concepts of vocational training.

Participating in this program stands out as the best highlight in my professional journey. Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. As a coopted member of the Alumni Board, I want to contribute with my work to motivate fellow students and Alumni to engage in and initiate own alumni networking actions.

One of my decision criteria to join the Executive MBA program at the TUM was based on the modular setup offered. The split into modules which mostly took place Thursday to Tuesday helped me a lot to manage my full-time job, focus on the Executive MBA and still spend time with my family as I have two kids.

The Global Aerospace Campus online course “Space Safety” has provided me with invaluable knowledge in the aspects of space debris, collision avoidance, and asteroid impacts.

Within this program, you get the chance to work with companies and work on your projects, so that you can actually apply the information you learned in the lectures, instead of just studying for exams and putting that information down on paper.

Mental health is becoming a key leadership responsibility. In this session, participants learn how to lead themselves and others in a healthy way—because a sustainable career is a marathon, not a sprint. The Talent Booster program uniquely combines practical tools with deep insights into the mental challenges of tomorrow’s workplace.

The course was very intensive. It covered all aspects of urban mobility and related technical aspects. The professors, who are from reputed universities, made the chapters cohesive, conceptual and practical so that the students are able to understand the circumstances, past, present and future scenario of urban mobility in an industrialized environment.

It was a good mix of theory and application. I found the advice from the practitioners very helpful. Especially in the feedback sessions when we developed our projects. It was sometimes a bit overwhelming to understand all the theoretical parts of the lecture. But there are great additional resources to follow up on each topic to get a better understanding.

Lifelong learning does not end with the completion of a degree or continuing education program. Through our association, we maintain contacts, renew our knowledge in the spirit of lifelong learning and thus create inspiration for new concepts.

Leadership means developing others – and that requires sound expertise in innovation and psychology, as well as a business creation mindset. In Talent Booster, we work on precisely these topics: we develop disruptive ideas, train leadership skills, and develop creative business models. This creates an environment in which courage, transformation, and entrepreneurial thinking can be experienced.

Previous approaches in the area of patient safety have been primarily characterized by reacting to errors in order to avoid them in the future. However, patient safety concerns much more than just avoiding errors and certain complications. Rather, patient safety must be understood as an inherent characteristic of teams and organizations.

The most valuable gains from the program came from its rich program content delivered by outstanding professors and guest speakers.
