The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning’s “Digital Twins for Cities” course was a highlight of 2023. The hybrid approach allows for effective knowledge transfer and valuable networking in equal measure. The quality of the speakers and participants was excellent. I was able to take a lot of knowledge and inspiration with me into my everyday professional life. The only open question is which course I will attend at TUM LLL 2024.

Having over twenty years of experience in both technical and management roles, I always found that I was missing certain tools in my ‘toolbox’ – especially when it came to working with senior executives. After attending the Executive MBA in Business & IT at the TUM, I am confident about engaging in deeper discussions because I now use these newly gained tools.

The BIM Professional certification course is characterized by the very high quality of the lecturers and thus the content taught. It was possible to cover the entire range of Building Information Modeling topics from practical application examples to the latest innovative research results in the content of the certification course.

The MOOC is incredibly clear and easy to understand. Everything is fully explained, and the quality is top-notch: the lessons are great, the exercises are great, and the videos are great. Standardized methodological knowledge is not enough. Digital transformation is complex and multidimensional and different in every case.

What I particularly liked about this course is that it was not industry-specific, which allowed me to learn how other industries use Blockchain. Also, the course provides excellent foundational knowledge in each module. The group exercise and case study were also excellent ways to apply our new knowledge and solidify our understanding of the material. The goal must be to make agriculture more efficient, more resilient, more resource-efficient and even more sustainable. Technologies offer us powerful tools for this, but can only be successful in the long-term, if they are seamlessly integrated into everyday work.

The modules of the Executive MBA in Business & IT are organized in a way you can get the best learning experience. For me this was translated into a broader business knowledge and leadership skills that help me improve my collaboration, problem solving and decision making with marketing and other business domains resulting in more value delivered to the organization.

The Munich Aerospace online course “Space Safety” brings together the knowledge of experts at world-class institutes like the European Space Agency, the German Aerospace Center, the Technical University Munich, and the LMU University Hospital of Munich.

Great: Good videos, interactive tasks, and integrated development environment.

It was a good mix of theory and application. I found the advice from the practitioners very helpful. Especially in the feedback sessions when we developed our projects. It was sometimes a bit overwhelming to understand all the theoretical parts of the lecture. But there are great additional resources to follow up on each topic to get a better understanding.

SITE has not only given me a deeper understanding of the core elements of successful strategizing, but has also provided me with valuable concepts and tools that enable me to transfer this knowledge to my everyday professional life. In particular, I liked the combination of teaching and practice-oriented workshops.
