I am delighted that the new certificate program “Patient Safety” has been launched by TUM’s Medical Faculty and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in close cooperation with TUM Campus Straubing, the Klinikum St. Elisabeth Straubing and Lufthansa Aviation Training. Due to the advances made in the digitalization of medicine and the increasingly complex processes involved in treatment, the topic of patient safety is becoming ever more important in our clinics and hospitals. The interdisciplinary partnership of medicine, research and business holds the promise of innovative and dynamic strategies for the responsible handling of risks posed by modern medicine.

I chose the CPEA program (VC Track) in order to deepen my knowledge in VC and benefit from the knowledge of industry experts as well as meeting peers. After graduating in 2024 I can say that the CPEA did not disappoint! It is a great program to get practical and academic insights into PE & VC from industry experts and great speakers. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers, network and work on realistic, real world investment cases together. The goal of the course and our greatest concern is therefore to make this knowledge about Smart Farming and the digital transformation possibilities of agriculture available to all interested parties in a compact form – based on cutting-edge research findings, practice- as well as future-oriented.

It is quite challenging to balance a full-time job, family life and studies. However the part-time program offered a schedule that fitted my routine, with classes once a month from Thursday to Sunday and a reasonable timeframe to deliver the modules’ assignments. The course content was a good mix between theory and practice.

This course is a great way to get an overview of the contents of the DPS programme. The interactive design makes the course very appealing. I can definitely recommend it.

Fostering and developing the EMBA network is an important value for me. After all, the personal contacts and friendships are one of the most valuable things I got out of my EMBA studies. Therefore, it is only logical for me to get involved in the Alumni Association and to help keep the alumni network alive and active.

Venture capital and private equity are rather difficult sectors to access. It is tricky to understand the details and the mechanisms behind the scenes without talking to experienced professionals. The CPEA’s multi-faceted approach not only provides academic analysis of the industry as a whole, but also sheds light on the complex construct from a practitioner’s perspective.
