SITE has not only given me a deeper understanding of the core elements of successful strategizing, but has also provided me with valuable concepts and tools that enable me to transfer this knowledge to my everyday professional life. In particular, I liked the combination of teaching and practice-oriented workshops.

Networking truly enhanced my Executive MBA experience by introducing me to fellow classmates with different backgrounds and languages. The diverse people you get to network with during your Executive MBA enriches the discussions inside as well as outside the class environment. This program allowed me to broaden my network and tap into the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Munich and make valuable connections.

Additive manufacturing in its already great diversity makes it possible to get from a product idea to a finished product in record time. In addition, layer-by-layer construction can create structures with the most complex geometries, in multi-material construction or with integrated functionalities, which would not be so easy to realize with conventional technologies.

The Data Science program was an excellent refresher that reconnected me with the close relationship between computer science and mathematics. In just six days, an impressively broad spectrum was covered – from R fundamentals and statistical foundations to advanced machine learning methods and deep learning architectures. I particularly valued the well-balanced combination of theoretical concepts like Bayesian inference with practical applications in reinforcement learning and optimization methods. An intensive program that provides comprehensive insights into modern data-driven approaches.

can highly recommend this course if you want to get a thorough understanding of the complete blockchain & DLT ecosystem – from code to governance – and explore what it takes to make it work in a business environment (spoiler alert: a lot). I really enjoyed this course, taking home valuable insights and inspiration from this diverse group of practitioners!

I would absolutely go for this program again! Many of the approaches and ideas were immediately useful in my corporate job. Before the Executive MBA, I thought of myself as an intrapreneur. Actually, I never had serious plans to found my own business. This seed was planted in Garching, and the plant is growing: What initially started as my final thesis topic within the program led to founding the medtech start-up Lab E GmbH.

The Executive MBA in Business & IT has given me the ability to approach problem-solving and decision-making from a leadership standpoint, teaching me the importance of asking the right questions and utilizing available information to make the right decisions.

During my 2nd semester of the Master in Management & Innovation, I worked with Schunk GmbH, which was my first experience working in a German company. At Schunk’s R&D lab, I chose the topic which was always close to my heart – automobiles and what the future of mobility would look like. And I learned more than that as I experienced what it is like to work the German way – the sheer will to innovate and the perseverance it takes to constantly be ahead.

Participating in this program stands out as the best highlight in my professional journey. The global network of diverse students, guidance from insightful mentors, and the program’s focus on innovation have profoundly enhanced my professional growth. The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.

Receiving the TUM EMBA Alumni Association Christoph-Herrlich Scholarship not only offset the program fees during my personally financed studies but also confirmed for me the values of community service and altruism of the alumni community I am now proud to be a part of. I will always be grateful for the financial support and, through the fellow recipients and the Alumni Association board members, feel more integrated into the community’s international professional network.

Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. What an outstanding course. The instructors make the videos engaging and convey the topics in a much more interesting manner than any other computer science lecturer I’ve ever seen. The course is structured very cleverly as well, with multiple video paths that you can take depending on how much support you need.

Not only did this specialization teach me the proper techniques of accounting and the different methods of preparing an income statement, it also taught me how to learn independently, how to persevere with a problem to find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, enabled me to continue to develop my accounting skills.
