The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Timber construction has the potential to be reusable. We demonstrate which aspects of demountability are crucial for this – and how they can be integrated into design and planning strategies.

It is quite challenging to balance a full-time job, family life and studies. However the part-time program offered a schedule that fitted my routine, with classes once a month from Thursday to Sunday and a reasonable timeframe to deliver the modules’ assignments. The course content was a good mix between theory and practice.

The program provided an excellent environment to learn new methods how to consider unforeseeable changes in the competitive environment. I liked especially the opportunities to reflect the learning with practical examples, and the personal coaching for an own case.

The covered topics were perfect for me as someone coming from another professional field. Exactly the right mix of praxis relevant information for the daily brewing process, but also with a solid foundation of science to help to truly understand the entire process. The lectures were all well prepared, very competent and engaged with great passion. The organization was perfect, as was the atmosphere during the course.

The development of products that help customers reduce their carbon footprint has been driving me professionally for years. Our excursions to the various companies on the practical weekends were also very exciting, e.g. the malt house or the hop community, and the many great discussions with the other course participants at eye level were very helpful and a good added value in this course.
