Wood as a material offers enormous design potential for architecture and engineering. It can be used in a wide variety of ways. What fascinates me about wood is not only the aesthetic expression of the material, but also the special tectonics and the precision of digital production methods.

The Double Degree with HEC Paris offers the perfect mix of management theory and practice. The coursework teaches important theories and frameworks, for example identifying trends in the market and creating solutions for these opportunities. Networking during and after my study experience in Paris and Munich was extremely beneficial for both my personal and professional development.

The Executive MBA in Business & IT has given me the ability to approach problem-solving and decision-making from a leadership standpoint, teaching me the importance of asking the right questions and utilizing available information to make the right decisions.

The goal must be to make agriculture more efficient, more resilient, more resource-efficient and even more sustainable. Technologies offer us powerful tools for this, but can only be successful in the long-term, if they are seamlessly integrated into everyday work.

The BIM Professional certification course is characterized by the very high quality of the lecturers and thus the content taught. It was possible to cover the entire range of Building Information Modeling topics from practical application examples to the latest innovative research results in the content of the certification course.

I was looking for an adequate advanced training in the field of sustainability and the combination of purely theoretical knowledge and relevant practical aspects convinced me to participate. Above all, the selection of lecturers absolutely met my expectations. Another positive aspect for me was the wide range of topics across the 8 modules.

Theory and practice turned out to be very well-connected, especially during the team project. It changed the way I communicate with my customers today and how I listen to market needs between the lines. Other big learnings came from my peers. The course is for the Ag professionals from the Ag professionals. It is a perfect environment not just to stay up to date but to generate new ideas with sparring partners on the same level, from the same industry but slightly different disciplines, opening up completely new horizons. The TUM.wood program takes a holistic approach to teaching wood construction. A team of lecturers and experts from theory and practice gives participants a comprehensive insight into the wood value chain. This is particularly interesting for experienced architects.

The covered topics were perfect for me as someone coming from another professional field. Exactly the right mix of praxis relevant information for the daily brewing process, but also with a solid foundation of science to help to truly understand the entire process. The lectures were all well prepared, very competent and engaged with great passion. The organization was perfect, as was the atmosphere during the course.
