This program has given me access to a network with extensive expertise and experience. It is the ideal space to ask critical questions, discuss current developments and think outside the box. Although only a few months have passed since the end of the program, this network has already supported me in several projects.

I liked how much passion, humor, and interest in really getting the contents across went into this course. The lectures were of high-quality standard and there was much thought put into the course structure. I especially liked the interactive editor and the progress overview. Lorenz is a fantastic coach.

The modules of the Executive MBA in Business & IT are organized in a way you can get the best learning experience. For me this was translated into a broader business knowledge and leadership skills that help me improve my collaboration, problem solving and decision making with marketing and other business domains resulting in more value delivered to the organization.

The EMBA program has been extremely beneficial, especially in terms of working alongside other students to solve real-world business challenges related to corporate social responsibility and competitive strategy. Wood as a material offers enormous design potential for architecture and engineering. It can be used in a wide variety of ways. What fascinates me about wood is not only the aesthetic expression of the material, but also the special tectonics and the precision of digital production methods.

We convey the technical relationships as well as the responsibility that all those involved along the wood value chain assume if wood is used for modern, efficient, climate-friendly and sustainable construction

The course covered all the fundamentals and provided me with a broad knowledge base. Several use cases were discussed, and I was even able to create my own cryptocurrency with a few lines of code. I would highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to gain knowledge and looking for potential opportunities in the blockchain space.

Functional integration, resource conservation, lightweight construction and highly complex component designs – these features characterize additive manufacturing processes. Consequently, additive manufacturing processes are ideal technologies for sustainable and green production. In order to be able to leverage this sustainability potential, an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing processes is essential.

Theory and practice turned out to be very well-connected, especially during the team project. It changed the way I communicate with my customers today and how I listen to market needs between the lines. Other big learnings came from my peers. With a broad variety of industrial backgrounds everyone brought in a different practical view on the topics discussed.

The course is for the Ag professionals from the Ag professionals. It is a perfect environment not just to stay up to date but to generate new ideas with sparring partners on the same level, from the same industry but slightly different disciplines, opening up completely new horizons. I enjoyed every second of it!

The Executive MBA in Business & IT enables me to connect, learn, exchange, and grow alongside a group of talented professionals. The exposure to colleagues coming from different industries and working for market leaders is definitely a great opportunity I am benefiting from during my program. I am also able to bring those connections back to work, unveiling synergies on new business opportunities and best practices.

The Christoph Herrlich Stipendium was instrumental in enabling my pursuit of the TUM Executive MBA, opening doors that might have otherwise remained closed. Within this program, you get the chance to work with companies and work on your projects, so that you can actually apply the information you learned in the lectures, instead of just studying for exams and putting that information down on paper.

I would absolutely go for this program again! Many of the approaches and ideas were immediately useful in my corporate job. Before the Executive MBA, I thought of myself as an intrapreneur. Actually, I never had serious plans to found my own business. This seed was planted in Garching, and the plant is growing: What initially started as my final thesis topic within the program led to founding the medtech start-up Lab E GmbH.

I am delighted that the new certificate program “Patient Safety” has been launched by TUM’s Medical Faculty and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in close cooperation with TUM Campus Straubing, the Klinikum St. Elisabeth Straubing and Lufthansa Aviation Training. Due to the advances made in the digitalization of medicine and the increasingly complex processes involved in treatment, the topic of patient safety is becoming ever more important in our clinics and hospitals. The interdisciplinary partnership of medicine, research and business holds the promise of innovative and dynamic strategies for the responsible handling of risks posed by modern medicine.
