The TUM.wood program takes a holistic approach to teaching wood construction. A team of lecturers and experts from theory and practice gives participants a comprehensive insight into the wood value chain. This is particularly interesting for experienced architects.

It was a good mix of theory and application. I found the advice from the practitioners very helpful. Especially in the feedback sessions when we developed our projects. It was sometimes a bit overwhelming to understand all the theoretical parts of the lecture. But there are great additional resources to follow up on each topic to get a better understanding.

I particularly valued the well-balanced combination of theoretical concepts like Bayesian inference with practical applications in reinforcement learning and optimization methods. An intensive program that provides comprehensive insights into modern data-driven approaches.

The exercises were very comprehensible and foolproof, just the way you should have them at the beginning.

Using timber construction meaningful and with a sense of proportion – we want to impart the sound specialist knowledge for this.

The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.

This program has given me access to a network with extensive expertise and experience. It is the ideal space to ask critical questions, discuss current developments and think outside the box. Although only a few months have passed since the end of the program, this network has already supported me in several projects.

When you join this Executive MBA program, you become part of a group of interesting people from various backgrounds, who all want to improve as professionals. Working side by side with these experienced and accomplished individuals has taught me things such as: new ways of approaching problems, paths of execution entirely different from mine, insights, and advice from sources I never had access to. The side effect: a reliable personal network, that would have taken years to build up.

The program provided an excellent environment to learn new methods how to consider unforeseeable changes in the competitive environment. I liked especially the opportunities to reflect the learning with practical examples, and the personal coaching for an own case.
