What an outstanding course. The instructors make the videos engaging and convey the topics in a much more interesting manner than any other computer science lecturer I’ve ever seen. The course is structured very cleverly as well, with multiple video paths that you can take depending on how much support you need.

Today, we face with the challenges of climate change, growing global population as well as resource scarcity. The building industry plays a decisive role in reducing CO₂ emissions. The aim of our work is therefore to highlight concepts for implementing a positive ecological footprint in the building sector.

Not only did this specialization teach me the proper techniques of accounting and the different methods of preparing an income statement, it also taught me how to learn independently, how to persevere with a problem to find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, enabled me to continue to develop my accounting skills.

As a transplant from California, I choose to participate actively in the Alumni Association in order to engage with the network of individuals from the university and to promote the exchange of experiences, opportunities, and connections, especially in the areas of lifelong professional learning and personal development.

Comprehensive knowledge of timber construction is the key to serving the exploding demand for building concepts with renewable raw materials.

Lifelong learning does not end with the completion of a degree or continuing education program. Through our association, we maintain contacts, renew our knowledge in the spirit of lifelong learning and thus create inspiration for new concepts.

We try to counteract the ever-increasing complexity in the construction industry: simply build!

The program helped me to make our whole business concept way more scalable. We successfully developed our company from a consulting business to a technology driven business.

Whether in the classroom or virtually, our goal is the same – to enable our students to drive forward digitization and the use of new technologies, to build a network in which they can thrive, and to impart proven leadership qualities that will give them the tools they need to position their company sustainably in the marketplace.

During my 2nd semester of the Master in Management & Innovation, I worked with Schunk GmbH, which was my first experience working in a German company. At Schunk’s R&D lab, I chose the topic which was always close to my heart – automobiles and what the future of mobility would look like. And I learned more than that as I experienced what it is like to work the German way – the sheer will to innovate and the perseverance it takes to constantly be ahead.

Wood as a material offers enormous design potential for architecture and engineering. It can be used in a wide variety of ways. What fascinates me about wood is not only the aesthetic expression of the material, but also the special tectonics and the precision of digital production methods.

I would absolutely go for this program again! Many of the approaches and ideas were immediately useful in my corporate job. Before the Executive MBA, I thought of myself as an intrapreneur. Actually, I never had serious plans to found my own business. This seed was planted in Garching, and the plant is growing: What initially started as my final thesis topic within the program led to founding the medtech start-up Lab E GmbH.

Strategy is about making choices, where to go and where not. In particular, in turbulent environments you need a clear orientation. Otherwise you will end up with everything and nothing. The Strategizing in Turbulent Environments program equips with such an orientation.

At the start of our project phase at Kärcher, we were introduced to the most important people from the robotics team who provided us with the materials we needed. Through group interviews, we gathered valuable information for working on the objective questions. There were weekly feedback meetings to ensure mutual knowledge exchange. And although we could not be on site due to ongoing contact restrictions, we received continuous support.

Global concerns for future work emphasize the vital role of vocational education. This master’s degree is an excellent opportunity to connect with students and experts worldwide and discuss the impact of technological and digital transformation on VET and innovative training for industry professionals. SENAI finances my studies, considering my participation strategic for our future. I am pleased to participate in this course.

I really appreciate TUM’s efforts to improve the knowledge of people around the world through free education.

In a future where AI and quantum computing merge, the impossible becomes possible. This course has helped me to understand the difference between science fiction and reality.
